Individual, couple and family counseling sessions are 50 minutes and cost $140.
Counseling is both a personal and professional relationship, and often it is necessary to meet with a perspective counselor to assess fit. Stephanie is very willing to answer any questions you may have over the phone prior to the initial consultation, at no charge, in order to help you understand her style and fit.
Cash, Check, Mastercard, Visa, American Express or Discover are acceptable forms of payment. Payment is required at the time of the session. There is a 24-hour cancellation policy. Failure to provide cancellation within 24 hrs of an appointment will result in a full charge.
Reduced fees are available through one of Stephanie’s Interns. The requirements in the state of Texas to become a licensed therapist are very rigorous. After a person has completed both a Bachelors and a Masters degree, or a Doctorate degree, candidates must pass a national exam towards licensing as a state licensed therapist. Only then is a person is eligible to begin accumulating 3,000 hours of supervised experience. While in this process, which takes several years, their professional designation is LPC-Intern or LMFT-Associate. This internship designation is similar to a medical resident. Interns are supervised by Stephanie, a Licensed Counselor Supervisor, on a weekly basis.
In order to utilize insurance, information pertinent to your care must be disclosed to an insurance company. This information entails a diagnosis along with other personal information. In an effort to safe guard your information and maintain the highest level of confidentiality, Stephanie does not file insurance directly. She will, however, provide the necessary documentation for clients to file with their own insurance for out-of-network reimbursement.
