Individual, couple and family counseling sessions are 50 minutes and cost $170.
If you’re seeking counseling, it’s important to find a counselor who is a good fit for you both personally and professionally. Stephanie understands this and is happy to answer any questions you may have over the phone before your initial consultation, free of charge. This will help you get a sense of her counseling style and whether or not it’s a good match for you.
Accepted forms of payment include cash, check, Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. Payment is required at the time of the session. Please note that we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you fail to provide at least 24 hours’ notice of a cancellation, you will be charged for the full session.
If cost is a concern, reduced fees are available through Stephanie’s interns. Becoming a licensed therapist in Texas requires rigorous education and training. After completing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or a Doctorate degree, candidates must pass a national exam to obtain a license as a state-licensed therapist. Only then are they eligible to begin accumulating 3,000 hours of supervised experience. During this process, which takes several years, their professional designation is LPC-Intern or LMFT-Associate. Interns work under Stephanie’s supervision on a weekly basis, similar to how medical residents work under the supervision of attending physicians.
Insurance
When you use insurance to pay for healthcare, your insurance company needs to know certain information about your diagnosis and personal details. To ensure your privacy and maintain confidentiality, Stephanie does not file claims directly with insurance companies. However, she will provide you with the necessary paperwork to submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement.
